The Cottage is a portion of Boring House Farmhouse which is fully self-contained, it is situated just outside the village of Vines Cross in the heart of the East Sussex countryside. Although we do not have a village shop the next village of Horam is only 2 miles away. The cottage sleeps five comfortably and we can provide a cot if necessary. There is a large garden for the children to play and also has a barbecue. We are situated well off the road so the cottage is very quiet and private. The views from the cottage are far reaching over fields and woods.

We are a working farm with breeding Ewes, but just 1 cow. There is a pond with Carp and a small trout stream with Brook trout on the farm that you are welcome to use. Also if you like walking there are plenty of footpaths in the area and various public houses nearby in which to quench your thirst at the end of the walk. These public houses also serve delicious meals and are very child friendly. If it is cycling you are looking for we have the Cuckoo Trail which is a disused railway line stretching from Heathfield to Polegate which is approximately 13 miles long so if you are really keen you could go all the way both ways. The Cuckoo Trail is particularly good because it is safe even for the smallest child to ride. There are all sorts of amenities within a few miles, something for everyone from castles and historical houses to speedway and go-cart racing
