Eliza's cottage is idyllically situated in a residential area of Church Stretton. Allowing you to be a few minutes walk from the High street or the slopes of the Longmynd, through Rectory Field to providing many attractive walks from your doorstep.
Eliza’s cottage dates back to 1885 when the rector of Church Stretton built the row of five cottages For his Coachman, cook, gardener etc.
Eliza’s cottage has recently been renovated to a high standard Retaining many of the original features and character.
The mid –terraced, two bedroom cottage offers first class facilities, tastefully furnished to ensure comfortable, homely and immaculate accommodation for your stay.
The Large kitchen/ dining room is fully fitted with light oak county style kitchen with a electric fan oven, gas hob, Microwave and Fridge/Freezer and dishwasher. Table and chairs provide seating for four people.
From the kitchen leads the utility with automatic washing machine/Dyer, with separate down stairs toilet with wash basin.
The lounge has the original fire place with wood burner for a cosy winter evening, Colour TV & video, three piece suite and catches the morning sun.
The first bedroom provides a full sized double bed with Edwardian Bedroom furniture and looks out over Church Stretton to Helmeth Hill.
The second bedroom has two full sized single beds with pine bedroom furniture and looks out over the garden.
The bathroom is fully fitted with Shower Facilities over the bath.
Eliza's cottage has a small garden at the front and a larger garden at the rear with flower borders.
Full gas central heating is provided in all rooms.
Parking is available at the front of the cottage.

Church StrettonThe small town of Church Stretton has something for everybody. Church Stretton is at the heart of the Longmynd’s 5000 acres of heather covered moor land owned by the National Trust, a designated area of outstanding natural beauty.
Today it is a friendly shopping town with a good variety of traditional shops to browse around giving old fashioned personal service with a small street market on Thursdays. There are several antique shops/market that could occupy any afternoon.
A variety of tea rooms, restaurants, pubs & take-away provide delicious food. Local county pubs in the surrounding villages provide excellent bar and evening meals.

Short breaks and weekends are welcome from November to March. Starting from £80 for the cottage for two nights based on two people staying. The 3rd and 4th guest it is an extra £10 per person.
Short Breaks can be taken to suit you.
Fresh Bed linen and soft towels are included in the cost along with Electricity and Heating and logs for the wood burner.
Booking can be made over the telephone initially and confirmed with a £50 deposit. Cheques payable to Wendy Lewis.
On receipt of your deposit I will then write back to confirm your booking with directions. The remaining balance is then due on the day of arrival.
