Welcome to the magical world of pottery painting! Sunshine Ceramics offers fun and affordable entertainment for the whole family. Come rain or shine, painting pottery is a simple and enjoyable activity where it’s easy to achieve great looking results. Our bright, stress-free studio is the perfect place to unwind and create a unique gift, special memento or to simply treat yourself.

Producing your own masterpiece is simple! Choose a blank pottery shape from our extensive range, think about your design and colours then get painting! You don’t need to be artistic as we have lots of books, stencils and stamps to inspire you. Our friendly staff will guide you through the entire process of creating your own work of art. After you have finished painting we professionally glaze and fire your masterpiece in our kiln and it will normally be ready for collection 4-5 days later. Don’t worry if you are only visiting Swanage as we can post your item on to you (for an additional charge), or hold it at the studio until your next visit.

All our prices are all inclusive. One price includes your chosen bisque item, paints, use of equipment, glazing and firing. We have tiles from £3, children’s decorations from £5, mugs and plates from £10.

We are the perfect venue for a creative children’s party, or get the girls together and book an evening session, you can bring your own wine – we’ll supply the glasses!

As we are a small studio and to avoid disappointment we recommend pre-booking during our busy times (school holidays and weekends).
