While enjoying a welcome drink and refreshments full details of theBoat and cruise are given together with instructions on the simple boating tasks to be performed by "the crew".
Cruises either go towards the picturesque Yorkshire Dales village of Gargrave, or south through Kildwick Wood. Full-day cruises allow time for a picnic lunch on board or a visit to a café or pub for lunch before returning to Skipton in the afternoon.
Instruction is provided for anyone interested in learning how to steer and moor a narrowboat.
