Waltham Windmill Golf Course offers an exciting and challenging round of golf in a beautiful landscape setting in 125 acres of Lincolnshire countryside.
The course is made up of two loops of nine holes, enabling golfers to start on either the first or tenth holes. The first loop of nine mainly follows the boundaries of the course and the back nine weaves around the middle of the course.
This allows each hole to be very different than the proceeding hole.
The course is mainly parkland with many fairways lined by trees. The added interest comes from five ponds which come in to play on nine holes. These provide a challenge not only from the tee but also around some of the greens.
From the white tees the course provides a challenging test of golf at over 6400 yards. It measures 300 yards longer than from the yellow tees and a number of holes play completely differently.
The course features a state of the art irrigation system, together with USGA greens and excellent drainage which ensures all year round play.
