Explore and Discover Tours are guided tours of Windsor and London. I look forward to helping you to explore the famous landmarks and to discover hidden secrets. I am a Blue Badge Guide. The Blue Badge is the elite of tourist guiding qualifications in the U.K, we undergo two years of extensive training. Below are some examples of my Windsor tours.

· Windsor Town Walk – for many centuries this town has been intimately associated with royalty. Enjoy the cobbled streets of the medieval old town, see the stately Long Walk, the tavern where William Shakespeare wrote the ‘Merry Wives of Windsor’ and the house where Nell Gwyn, mistress of Charles II lived.

· Eton walk – Visit Eton which is famous for its college, founded by Henry VI in 1440. Today it is one of our most prestigious public schools where 18 prime ministers were educated. Hear about life at the school and its fascinating traditions. Also enjoy Eton’s picturesque High Street.

· Windsor and Eton walk – this is available for those with limited time who want to take a Windsor Town walk and also get a taste of Eton.

· Windsor Castle Tours

· Windsor Great Park and Runnymede Walk and Boat Trip – Walk down part of the Long Walk which leads from Windsor Castle to the Copper Horse. Enter Windsor Great Park and walk through the Deer Park. Your Blue Badge Guide will point out places of interest. Then we will walk to Runnymede, the birth place of modern democracy to see the Magna Carta memorial, erected by the American Bar Association commemorating the signing of the Magna Carta by King John at Runnymede in 1215. We will also see the memorial to President JF Kennedy. After a break for refreshments we will take a boat trip back to Windsor along a beautiful stretch of the River Thames. The walk is 5.5 miles and the boat trip is 1 hour and 40 minutes.

I can also create a tailor-made tour especially for you, for the group you are travelling with or why not get a group of friends together and take a walk, perhaps to celebrate a special occasion or just to spend time together? If your group has a special interest I can design a tour with a suitable theme. I can also suggest or create a tour for your corporate and conference requirements.

Explore and Discover Tours are conducted on foot but I am also qualified to accompany your coach or minibus to other destinations in England such as Bath, Canterbury, Oxford, Salisbury, Stonehenge and Stratford upon Avon.
