Creating bespoke hats and headpieces as well as following my own themes is a passion. I love the challenge of developing new designs, exploring new methods and materials whilst honing the traditional techniques or millinery and hat making.
Susan Bradshaw is a professionally trained award-winning designer with a passion for hats. After nine years as an artist blacksmith she decided to combine her design talents with her love of hats qualifying as a milliner at Leeds College of Art & Design.
Many of her hats have graced the catwalks of fashion shows throughout Great Britain including a design chosen for a "Showgirls" themed fashion show at the Royal Armouries, Leeds. Her winning design for Warburton's Bread was worn at the Ebor Races in York to promote their company.
