Kingsmead Leisure Centre

The centre offers a range of activities for all ages and abilities. Swimming is catered for in the centre's three pools, including a beach pool for family use. The Dance Studio and the Mind and Body studio both offer a range of exciting classes to get you fit and if that doesn't work, then the Reflexions Fitness Studio with its array of hi-tec equipment and trained instructors or the separate Cycle Studio will. The centre also boasts a crèche facility, multi-purpose sports hall, solarium and a cafè. New in 2005 was the addition of two meeting/party rooms and two self-contained health and beauty treatment rooms for hire.

Swimming lessons are available for people of all ages and abilities. Fun Time sessions are available in the pool for children midweek and weekends. These are special sessions with the inflatable island, rafts and inflatable rings. Kids parties are also available where you can enjoy the pool exclusively for you and your guests. The Sports Hall also holds a play gym session for youngsters throughout the week. The Sports Hall is available to hire for a number of different sports including football, basketball, badminton and sportwall. Other facilities include treatment rooms and a solarium.
