Originally built as a gentleman's summer residence, Highcliffe House stands in an acre of woodlands some 800ft above sea level. It commands some stunning views of the Exmoor Hills, the Bristol Channel coastline across to Wales and Lynton and Lynmouth. The house is secluded but only a few minutes walk from Lynton and the famous cliff railway. Many walks start at the front door.

Owned and run by Karen and Mike Orchard who assure their guests of a relaxed, warm and friendly place to stay.

The house has two very comfortable lounges both with lovely views and one with a candlelit conservatory restaurant which enjoys exceptional views. The delicious home cooked meals are prepared from the finest local produce and completed by fine wines from around the world.

The house has six spacious individual bedrooms all en suite, some with feature super king size wooden beds. All have panoramic sea, coastal and Exmoor hill views and are attractively furnished and decorated. The rooms are equipped with colour TV, clock radio alarms, hospitality trays and a few other thoughtful extras including a welcoming decanter of sherry!
