This small Museum and Heritage Centre in the Old Station Yard houses photographs and artefacts recording the history and traditions of the North Tyne Valley and Redesdale. Displays include the Border Counties Railway, Border Reivers, photography, mining heritage and oral history. New features include a computerised photograph database and a names database for family historians, special activities for children.
