The former Ripon Liberty Courthouse. Standing on the site of its medieval predecessor, remains little altered since it was opened in 1830. See the courtroom used by Yorkshire Television in 'Heartbeat'. Stand in the dock where prisoners were sentenced to transportation to Australia. Read the 'Proclamation against Vice.
