Receiving over 200,000 visitors each year, our Visitor Centre incorporates a museum, viewing gallery, specialist cheese shop and fully licensed restaurant.
Our museum guides you through the history of Wensleydale Cheese and it’s production through the centuries.

Go back in time as you walk through the original farmhouse dairy, housing equipment from the turn of the century. See the press room and maturing room and learn about the traditional cheese-making process.
