One of Britain's foremost bird sanctuaries, the point is a 3.5 mile long sand and shingle spit noted in particular for its colonies of breeding terns, seals can also be seen.
Both common andgrey seals can be seen, as well as an interesting range of seaside plants. An information centre at Morston Quay provides further details on the area's attractions.
