Sutton Hoo, (National Trust) is an Anglo-Saxon royal burial site overlooking the River Deben in Suffolk, plus exhibition hall.
This led to the discovery of the most amazing collection of treasures that had lain undisturbed within the ship for over 1300 years. The 254 acre estate was generously donated to The National Trust in 1998. Visitors to Sutton Hoo can enjoy: Exhibition Hall (temporary exhibitions twice per year). Burial Mound Tours. Walks.
