The Museum's attractive premises in an elegant Victorian building in Camden Town include a History Gallery tracing the story of the Jewish community in Britain and a Ceremonial Art Gallery illustrating Jewish religious lifewith objects of rarity and beauty. The Museum has been awarded Designated status by the Museums and Galleries Commission in recognition of its outstanding collections of Jewish ceremonial art, which are among the finest in theworld. There is a temporary exhibitions gallery offering a varied programme including audio-visual displays.
