Medieval Hemyock Castle is situated in the Blackdown Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The remains may be seen of the gatehouse, part moat and site of other towers around the rectangular plan. There is a small display of pottery shards dug up recently which date from medieval to present times. The interpretation centre contains full-sized tableaux and pictures in the old windows showing 600 years of history of the site including extended Civil War display and information relevant to Hemyock Castle.
