Enjoy Britain's unique coastlines, dramatic gorges, mystical islands and famous seaside resorts aboard historic ship: Waverley - the last seagoing paddle steamer in the World and pleasure steamer Balmoral. This major attraction gives thousands of passengers each year the opportunity to recapture happy memories and visit places old & new. There are a range of Day and Afternoon sailings on selected days from Ilfracombe to Lundy Island, Porthcawl and a variety of coastal cruises. Other departure points include Minehead, Clevedon, Weston-Super-Mare and Bristol. Sail along the Exmoor coast and by such delights as the Great Hangman - the highest cliff on the English coast, the Valley of Rocks and steam onwards past the lighthouse on Foreland Point and into Porlock Bay with its unique mile long shingle ridge. Take a day trip to Wales, Porthcawl is a bustling town on the Glamorgan Heritage Coast with some of the cleanest beaches in South Wales. See stunning scenery and sealife as you sail westwards on the Atlantic coast cruise, round the spectacular North Devon coastline. Alternatively unwind from the hubbub of the modern world cruising to peaceful and unspoilt Lundy Island.

Onboard: 3 course meals, indulge in rare malts and specialist ales and buy a souvenir to cherish. Both ships are operated by a Charity and can accommodate 700+ passengers.

Sailing dates for 2009: 29 May - 19 Oct, operates 7 days a week. Timetables specific to each region across the UK, dates dependant on route see www.waverleyexcursions.co.uk for more details.
