Explore this fascinating royal medieval castle where King Charles I was held prisoner before his removal to Whitehall and subsequent execution. Visit the Isle of Wight museum and its many artefacts on Charles I. Enjoy the delightful Carisbrooke donkeys as they demonstrate how water was raised from the well in medieval times and meet them afterwards in the donkey centre.
Visit the tearoom also (limited Winter opening).
