With heathland, woodland and ponds, Yateley Common offers a variety of experiences to visitors. Once infamous for highwaymen and smugglers, today’s attraction is unspoilt heathland and natural history.

There is no charge to the Common. Much of the Common is also designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest and a Special Protection Area (SPA) because of its importance for wildlife. It has a dense network of network of bridleways with many smaller paths.

Located between Yateley and the A30, there are four car parks. Two are adjacent to large grassy areas, suitable for picnics and general amenity – at Wyndhams Pool off Cricket Hill Lane. The other two car parks are off the A30 between Yateley and Blackwater. Access to the west end of the site is by parking at Blackbushe Airport, off the A30.

Fishing is at Wyndhams Pond by day ticket.
No camping or overnight caravanning.
