Built by the Venetian architect, Leoni, in the 1730s for 2nd Lord Onslow, Clandon Park has one of the finest marble halls in Europe. The 4th Earl served as Govenor of New Zealand from 1888 - 1892, which is why there is a Maori meeting house in the grounds.

Attractive gardens contain a sunken Dutch garden, grotto and stunning bulb field in spring. Inside a superb collection of 18th century furniture, textiles and one of the finest collections of porcelain, including Meissen Commedia dell’arte figures.

Clandon is also home to the Queen’s Royal Surrey Regiment Museum. A first class licensed restaurant in the vaulted undercroft is open for coffee, lunch and teas from 11am.

Please note Clandon Park is open Good Friday and Easter Saturday.
