Leonardslee, listed Grade I, has spectacular woodland gardens, containing world renowned Rhododendrons, Camellias, Magnolias and Azaleas. 240 acres nestling in a valley with seven lakes meandering through, Leonardslee provides a paradise for any visitor. In May it is described as one of Europe's most spectacular gardens, when the spring flowers blossom they provide an incredible mosaic of colours and reflections. After the spring spectacle the gardens calm down to a more tranquil environment with softer, subtler, summer flowers, and ending with an exquisite display of Autumn shades. There is an abundance of wildlife including wallabies, which help to cut the grass, and various duck, geese and swans.
As well as the gardens see the amazing Victorian town in Miniature 1/12 scale called "Beyond the Dolls House"; a fine collection of working Victorian motor cars; and the new Sculpture for the Garden exhibition with exhibits by well known Sussex artists.
