Moss Grove Organic

Completely renovated to enhance the original character and located in the centre of Grasmere, the Moss Grove re-opened in June 2006 following extensive refurbishment. Retaining the original Victorian character the property has been restored using as many natural products as possible to reduce the environmental and carbon impact.
Natural Clay paints have been used throughout, hand printed wallpapers, wool carpets, solid oak flooring, furniture made from reclaimed timbers, natural duck down duvets and pillows, cotton bedding, filtered water to remove chlorine and pesticides, mainly organic, fair trade and local food; and natural wood blinds.
Complimented by spa baths in all rooms, separate showers, flat screen televisions, high speed internet access, sitting areas and an extensive Mediteranean Buffet breakfast.
