The Old Bridge is a privately owned luxury townhouse hotel and restaurant, situated on the river Ouse. Huntingdon is a thriving market town close by the intersection of the A1 and A14, just 12 miles from Cambridge. The 24 bedrooms are all individually decorated, each with bath & shower, satellite TV with integrated CD/DVD player, direct dial telephone, modem point & air conditioning. The restaurant is the heart of the hotel, Simon Cadge produces a menu highly praised in all the major food guides. Owner John Hoskins has created a wine list rated as the best in the UK (AA guide, 1999) & twice given the equivalent award by Egon Ronay. The bar is always busy, offering 3 real ales, great wines by the glass & fine espresso coffee. The Old Bridge is the ideal base to explore the east, or stop on your way north. The focus of the business is the local community - many call for a quiet drink, afternoon tea or a light snack. Nina Beamond and her staff look forward to welcoming you to The Old Bridge. Huntingdon is not a famous town but our product and our location justify a visit for all sorts of reasons. We hope to see you here. New for 2009 – a beautiful wine shop with 24 bottles open to taste every day.
