Tudor House, family run period house, is a 16th-Century building situated within the City Walls, in the heart of Canterbury. It is just about four minutes walk from the Cathedral through Christ Church Gate. Henry II passed within feet of our front door on his walk of penance from St. Dunstan's Church to the Cathedral after the death of Thomas Becket in 1170. Tudor House is the ideal location from which to explore the significant sites in Canterbury- to walk the walls, visit the castle and roam through history at your leisure. River tours of the city are a few yards away as are restaurants, pubs, markets and the High Street. Museums, library, churches, the Tourist Information Centre and of course, the Cathedral, are all at your feet.Check in from 2 p.m. until 10 p.m. Check out by 10 a.m.
