Chilgrove White Horse

This award-winning 1765 restaurant with rooms combines a two-rosette menu with organic local and seasonal produce, over 600 wines and uncluttered rooms with all the mod cons you would expect.

Located at the foot of the South Downs, it is perfect for cycling or walking the wonderful countryside, direct from the front door. Bikes can be hired with prior notice and dogs are welcome.

The nine rooms have been designed with relaxation in mind. CDs, large fluffy bath robes, luxurious L'Occitane bath products, books, magazines, firm super-king beds, central heating, fans, five-channel TVs, a mix of power showers and baths - and a deluxe breakfast hamper, served in bed or in the secluded garden. The two 'champagne rooms' also have a sofa, wide flat-screen TV, DVD, VCR, and a small fridge. All rooms can be double, twin or single, great for business travellers to Chichester, Portsmouth or Petersfield.

Very environmentally conscious, the Chilgrove White Horse has received a Gold Award for its efforts and has set a beacon for other places and customers to follow.

Please note, the restaurant and bar are closed on Sunday evenings and all day Mondays. However, the rooms are open seven days a week.
