The World of Beatrix Potter is a unique experience. All 23 Peter Rabbit tales are brought to life in three-dimensions, in a magical indoor recreation of the Lake District countryside, complete with sights, sounds and even smells! You can all on Mrs. Tiggy-winkle in her kitchen to identify the animal clothes hanging on the washing line and wander into the woodland glade to meet Jemima Puddle-duck and the scary foxy whiskered gentleman.
Now for the first time you can also step outside the attraction into the Peter Rabbit Garden, a wonderful evocation of the kitchen and cottage gardens of the Peter Rabbit stories, complete with gooseberry bushes, fruit trees and of course rows of lettuce and carrots. With games and activities for children and a huge variety of unusual plants this is a great addition which all the family will enjoy
There is also the chance to find out more about the fascinating life of Beatrix Potter with the Tale of Mrs. Heelis presentation and take a walk in her footsteps with the Beatrix Potter Virtual Walks.
The World of Beatrix Potter is the only attraction licensed by the publisher of the Peter Rabbit books and includes a Beatrix Potter Shop and Tea Room. In 2010 we will be growing all our own fruit and vegetables in an organic kitchen garden, so we will offer the freshest food in town.

With a calendar of events throughout the year there is always something new happening at the World of Beatrix Potter.
